Siraj meets Qadri, inquires about his health

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami head Siraj-ul Haq today urged federal government to honor its commitment regarding negotiations opposition jirga had held with the PTI and PAT.

Speaking to media persons after visiting ailing PAT leader Dr. Tahir ul Qadri on Monday, Haq said rallies or sit-ins are part of a democratic country. Government and opposition are like two wheels of a vehicle, he said.

He said that Tahir ul Qadri decided to launch a democratic struggle by calling off his sit-in.
