Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri asks workers to prepare for Darya Khan by-polls

BHAKKAR: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahirul Qadri on Sunday said that the 90 days of sit-ins and martyrdoms of the PAT workers awakened the nation, while he also directed his workers to prepare for Darya Khan by-elections, ARY News reported.

Addressing a public meeting in Bhakkar, Dr Tahirul Qadri said that the sit-ins and the martyrdoms of his workers gave strength to the oppressed to face the tyrants.

He directed his workers to fully prepare for the November 29 by-elections in tehsil Darya Khan of district Bhakkar.

The PAT chief said that the movement which was initiated on June 17 witnessed 30 martyrdoms, including two martyrs, Rafiullah and Abdul Hameed, of Bhakkar.

Qadri vowed that the blood of all these martyrs will not go in vain and the first battle in this way will take place in Darya Khan on November 29.
