PAT rally enroute to Data Darbar, security high

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri along with his party leaders has left for Data Darbar today (Thursday). The rally will visit Data Darbar via Ring Road, Harbanspura, Dharampura and Mall Road, Dunya News reported.

PAT chief has landed at the Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore on early Thursday morning whereas large number of PAT supports welcomed their leader at the airport.

According to details, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is leading the rally while sitting in a black color parado whose bonnet and roof are being covered with red roses whereas elite forces are ensuring full security of PAT rally.

Passionate PAT workers and leaders are holding PAT flags imprinted ‘Inqalab’ on them; however, PAT chief will lead to his house, Model Town after visiting Data Darbar.

Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Lahore Operations Dr. Ashraf Haider on Wednesday warned that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri’s life is in danger if he exits the airport in form of a rally, however, shunning the warning, PAT spokesman Raheeq Abbasi said that PAT has received no such warning and that even if they did, PAT would not change the plan.
