Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri reaches Pakistan

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahir Ul Qadri on Thursday reached Pakistan after visiting abroad with splendid reception by his followers at Lahore airport.

Huge number of people mostly belonging to the PAT was present at the Lahore Allama Iqbal International airport including women and children.

Government had taken strict security measures at his arrival.

Now PAT chief was heading towards Data Darbar with all his followers.

On Wednesday night police had started flag march area around Lahore airport on arrival Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahir Ul Qadri and on possible security threats.

The Lahore police have expressed fear that attacks were expected at the PAT workers who were coming to air port to welcome their leader.

After the fear the police started flag march 12 km area around Lahore airport.

While police also carried out search operation around areas near airport.
