Daily Times: Qadri changes travel plan due to Shahbaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri has changed the schedule of his stay in America due to the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in London following speculations regarding a “deal” with the government.

While talking to the media at his residence Al-Qadria House in Model Town on Monday, Qadri said that he would leave the country for America visit on Monday night at 3am, where he will raise funds and hold meetings with party workers for revolution and organising the party. He said that the main reason to change schedule was Shahbaz Sharif’s presence in London as anyone can raise the finger against him, like in the past in the form of ‘London Plan’. He said that he was scheduled to stay in London but now he would stay in North America. Qadri said he would also stay for three days in Canada during November 13-15 and he would come back to Pakistan on November 16.

Qadri said that Million March had held in front of Prime Minister’s House in England but no one had placed containers and used forced against the protesters because there was a democratic government. He also said everyone has right and freedom of expression there. He said, “PML-N government used different tactics to stop the Inqlab March in Islamabad because it is not a democratic government.” He said on the bases of 70-days a long time sit-in at capital of Pakistan, government have accepted bad governance in this country to took action against the ministers who have been failed to show their good performances. He said this government never wanted change in country regarding provision of rights and make free society. “We will fight against corrupt politicians who want to make a king in country.”
