Blasts have made nation mental patients: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the bomb blasts has made the people of Pakistan crazy. He said that the nation is in a state of war and the rulers are not even able to share exact information whenever a tragedy strikes. He said that the provincial ministers miserably failed to inform the people about exact nature of blast that killed several people in DHA as they resorted to different versions while the nation suffered from extreme anxiety.

The PAT Secretary General expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families who lost their near and dear ones in the sad incident.

Meanwhile, PAT Central Punjab President Basharat Jaspal said that after the court issued summon of IGP to appear in the court, the government increased his perks and privileges. He said that the masterminds of the Model Town tragedy are apprehensive that the police officers can become approvers and this explains why they are being given substantial increases in pays and perks that would go beyond their retirement. He said that IG Police is retiring on April 10.

Basharat Jaspal said that the police officers involved in Model Town have been sent abroad and given promotions already. He said that the rulers think that they will be able to push the issue of Model Town under the carpet through their shrewd tactics. He said that justice will be done in the case and those who shed the blood of innocent people will not be able to run away.
