Movement for accountability to start soon: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the movement for accountability is going to get underway soon, which will net the corrupt. He said that it is not only the people but the gentlemen from among the ruling party that will distribute sweets on the government going home. He said that the possibility of international conspiracy cannot be ruled out in the Turkish coup plot. He said that the people and government of Turkey deserve to be congratulated on retaining the territorial integrity of their country.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that there is no comparison with corruption of the ruling family in the world. He said that the Sharifs have no interest in matters of national security and the freedom struggle in Kashmir, adding that they only want that their accounts, wealth and business empire should stay intact. He said that blood of 14 innocent people will bear fruit. He said that no noticeable officer has been apprehended. He said that the rulers know that if they touch anyone, he would become an approver. He said that those giving and receiving clean chits should stay ready for the accountability, adding that the chits given by government departments would be of no use.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while talking to the party leaders in Birmingham. MP from Birmingham Khalid Mahmood and newly elected leaders of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat led by Allama Pir Syed Zahid Hussain Shah called on him and exchanged matters of mutual interest.

Talking to the delegation, Dr Qadri said that neither any meeting was scheduled with PTI Chairman Imran Khan nor is he in touch with him. He said that wide-ranging consultations will be held with the national leaders of the opposition on July 31 with regards to the Model Town tragedy, accountability and next line of action. He said that a three-member PAT delegation will attend the meeting of ToRs committee on July 19.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the moral authority of the Nawaz Government has ceased to exist after the Panama leaks. He asked how they who we do not accept as pleaders of Pakistan’s case can become the proponent of the Kashmir cause. He demanded that a clarification be given on the massive amounts taken from exchequer in the name of promoting the Kashmir cause. He said that the rulers have nothing to do with the future of Pakistan and the Kashmir freedom struggle. He said that personal business relations exist between the ruling family and the Indians. He said that they attend marriage and family functions of each other. He asked why the PM does not ask his Indian counterpart about the reason of the Indian forces’ brutality in a telephonic call.

The PAT Chairman said that the rulers’ statements expressing solidarity with the Kashmiris are nothing more than a façade. He said that they should tell as to what they did in terms of promoting the Kashmir cause in last three years. He said that overseas Pakistanis are serving the Kashmir cause better than the government. He said that the people of Pakistan are fed up with corruption, energy crisis and price hike. He said that they are braving the power outages for 16 hours in a temperature of 45 degree. He said that load-shedding has suspended the business activities in the country, while the rulers continue to live in their comfort zones unaffected by what the people go through.
