Resolution on Yemen reflective of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s thoughts: PAT

A Spokesperson of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has said that the resolution adopted by the Parliament on the Yemen issue is based on the words and thoughts of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that Pakistan does not have any role except that of a mediator. He, however, made it clear that there is no second opinion on the territorial integrity and security of Saudi Arabia, adding that the government somehow tried to make the brotherly country of Saudi Arabia controversial for nothing by holding discussion on the Yemen crisis and the indiscreet attitude of the government posed serious security threats to the lives of Pakistanis living in Yemen.

The PAT Spokesperson further said that Pakistan, Iran and Saudi Arabia are important countries of the Islamic world and the anti-Islam forces have been trying to create misunderstandings and mistrust among the three countries, adding that a clash-like situation is created at times due to unwise rulers, which is neutralized by the people. He said that the Prime Minister had a different policy that he kept close to his chest. He said that the people are thankful to the armed forces that apprised the government about the possible dangers and made it open its eyes to glaring realities.
