Imambargahs being targeted to fan sectarian fire in Pakistan: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned bomb blast and firing in an Imambargah in Rawalpindi on late Wednesday night and said that the so-called rulers are not serious about implementing the National Action Plan. Otherwise, the nation would not have to lift the funerals of their near and dear ones every day. He said that the Imambargahs are being targeted as per a carefully worked out strategy with an aim to fan sectarian fires in the country. He said that incompetent rulers and terrorists have become the biggest danger to Pakistan’s survival and stability. He expressed his heart-felt sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace and grant early recovery to the injured.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri directed the PAT and MQI workers to take part in rescue activities and donate blood for the injured. He said that every city of the country has been affected by unending wave of terrorism while the rulers remain complacent. He said that the terrorists are exposing the fake security cover in place by carrying out their terrorist activities in important cities. He said that the so-called democratic government has failed in securing life and property of the masses.

Meanwhile, PAT leaders Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, and Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz have condemned the series of terrorist incidents happening one after the other in different cities of the country and expressed their grave concern on rising trend of terrorism.
